Hogen Adams is incredibly proud to share that Governor Tim Walz has appointed Colette Routel to serve on the bench in the Minnesota District Court for the Fourth Judicial District, which sits in Hennepin County. Of counsel to Hogen Adams, Colette is a nationally renowned expert in federal Indian law, with her name etched in numerous significant victories for tribal sovereignty and treaty rights, including at the U.S. Supreme Court, where she has filed many amicus briefs supporting tribal and Native interests.
While we are saddened that Colette must leave her practice to take this next step in her career, we could not be happier for her. We know she will be a fantastic jurist.
